Travel Medicine
Our Staff
St. Luke's Travel Medicine services are provided by nurse practitioners or a registered nurse who collectively have more than 18 years of travel medicine experience and 65 years of nursing experience.
Patty Parsons, RN
Certificate in Travel Health™
Patty has been involved in travel medicine in the Boise area since 1992. She worked with Central District Health Department in immunizations and travel medicine. As a private contractor, Patty has worked with Hewlett-Packard for more than nine years, and helped St. Luke's Occupational Health develop onsite Travel Medicine clinics for businesses and multiple Travel Medicine sites for the routine traveler. She has been a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine since 1995.
April Kreitzer, RN, NP, MPH, MSN
Certificate in Travel Health™
April has been a registered nurse since 1994, and has been a certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner since 2000. She has practiced with St. Luke's Occupational Health since 2002, and has been involved in Travel Medicine since 2008. April has been a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine since 2009.
Becky Elder, RN, BSN, MN, FNP-C
Becky is a certified family nurse practitioner with over 11 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. She has worked in a variety of settings including working with the indigent population, and in family practice. She brings over 17 years of nursing experience to Travel Medicine. Becky has been a member of International Society of Travel Medicine since 2010.
Paige Cline, PA-C
Paige is a certified Physician Assistant with over 16 years of experience with more than 8 years as an Occupational Health specialist. She has also worked in family practice and emergency medicine. She is the past President of the Idaho Physician Assistant Association and current Idaho delegate to the American Association of Physician Assistants. Paige attended the 2011 Travel Medicine Conference at the University of Washington.
